Valley already has the very best benefits offered in all of the travel nursing industry, and when you start with us, you’ll receive a nice gift from Tiffany Co., but did you know that we reimburse for scrubs, certifications, and licenses?  Well, you do now!  Travel Nursing Assignment Reimbursements can be tricky, and as you can imagine, we receive many requests and we hope that the guidelines listed below will make it simpler to understand as we know it can be very confusing.

Here is how it works:

  • For each 13-week assignment the traveler completes, Valley will reimburse for either Scrubs, Certification, or License Reimbursements

And…

  • Valley reimburses for state licenses with the following parameters:
    • Valley is the first company the clinician is traveling or working for in that state (licensure only)
    • The license was issued < 60 days of the clinician’s assignment start date
    • Receipts are submitted to Valley within 7 days of the clinician’s start date
    • The clinician completes a 13-week assignment with no fewer than 468 hours of work
  • Valley reimburses certification renewals providing:
    • The certification is required for the position the traveler is working or for which has accepted an assignment
    • The certification was issued < 30 days of the clinician’s assignment start date, or during the assignment
    • Receipts are submitted to Valley within 7 days of the clinician’s start date or completion of the certification
    • The clinician completes a 13-week assignment with no fewer than 468 hours of work
  • Valley reimburses for scrubs providing:
    • The scrubs are required for the unit in the hospital for which the traveler has accepted and assignment (for instance, the ICU unit at General Hospital requires maroon scrubs).
    • The scrubs were purchased < 30 days of the clinician’s assignment start date, or during the assignment
    • Receipts are submitted to Valley within 7 days of the clinician’s start date or completion of the certification
    • The clinician completes a 13-week assignment with no fewer than 468 hours of work
  • License and certification reimbursements will be paid on the final check.
  • reimbursement request must be sent to help@valleyrocks.com to include:
    • The actual request
    • Name of traveler
    • Date contract started
    • Date contract ends or ended
    • Copies of receipts

Make sure your Travel Nursing Assignment Reimbursements are requested as it is a great benefit as a traveler!  We are here to help, so if you have questions, let us know.
