#1. Laguna Beach

Laguna is in Orange County, and is one of the most culturally rich places. This seaside resort is known for it’s mild year-round climate and scenic coves. The waters at Laguna beach are clean and calm. This beach is perfect for a nice stroll, picnics, and volleyball.

#2: Venice Beach

If you your travel nurse assignment is located in Los Angeles, you definitely need to check out Venice Beach. The world-famous Venice Beach is not only great for surfing, but it is extremely festive. Take a walk down the boardwalk and you’ll find that this place is filled with artist, jugglers, performers and more. If you’re looking for a place filled with excitement, this place is for you!

#3: La Jolla Cove

This beach is located in sunny San Diego. This cove is an ideal spot for swimmers, snorkelers and scuba divers. This is a great place to spot wildlife, as it is protected by the San Diego La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve.

#4: Santa Monica

Santa Monica Beach is also located in Los Angeles, and it also has a festive boardwalk. Enjoy the amusement park rides and festive food. This beach is also next to the Promenade, which is filled with tons of great shops! Santa Monica is the perfect location to explore and have fun.

#5: Carmel Beach

Located in central California, Carmel Beach is a beautiful beach to explore. It’s white sand and beautiful cypress trees makes for a great place to stroll.
